Die Berghut is situated 3 km in the mountain under a huge rock, about 16 km from Zastron in the Free state on the farm, Groenhoek. There are breathtaking views of the Maluti Mountains in the east and Lady Grey in the south.
The unit is self-catering and fully equipped and accommodates guests on a double bed and 2 single beds. There is a neat little bathroom. There is a gas stove, geyser, fridge and battery light as well as a long drop toilet with a spectacular view.
This secluded hideaway is perfect for escaping to nature, experiencing genuine campfires and a star-strewn sky at night. No electricity makes is even more unique. Die Berghut offers a haven of peace, quiet and security for the whole family.
For the adventurous, there are many surprises waiting on the hiking trail of 7 km. Activities include hiking, a braai area and a farm dam, which can be enjoyed on hot summer days.
