Die Damhuis is located on a wine farm, Mossiesdrift just 5 km outside Rawsonville. It was originally an old cement dam, which was later converted into a braai room. Because of a shortage of accommodation in the area, it was converted to a self-catering unit in August 2016.
The unit comes equipped with 1 bedroom featuring a double bed. There are 2 single beds located in the lounge area which can be converted into a king-size bed. The bathroom comes fitted with a shower, basin and toilet.
Other facilities include a kitchenette, indoor braai, outdoor braai, pool table, bar counter with comfortable bar stools and a flatscreen TV with DStv.
The swimming pool is part of the main house, however guests do have access to the pool. Although this unit is next to the main house we do respect the privacy of our guests.
Die Damhuis is 16 km from Worcester and 12 km from Goudini Spa. Attractions in the area include the Karoo National Botanical Gardens, the Golden Valley Casino, Tweede Tol, Mountain Mill Mall, the Brandvlei Nature Reserve and various wine cellars and Goudini Spa. Guests can expect to swim, hike, do wine tasting, go mountain biking and explore the 4x4 routes in the area.
