Die Melkstal is a self-catering cottage located on Appelsbosch Farm in Swellendam, Western Cape. This property offers guests a tranquil break away from the city noise.
This house can accommodate up to 12 guests in 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first bedroom is furnished with a double bed, while the second and third bedrooms are boh furnished with 2 single beds. The fourth bedroom contains 3 sets of bunk beds. The first bathroom is fitted with a bath, washbasin and toilet and the second bathroom has a shower, washbasin and toilet. Linen and towels are provided.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, washing machine, cutlery and crockery, tea- and coffee-making facilities and a dining table. The living room is furnished with comfortable seating and a TV. The room opens onto a covered patio that is furnished with outdoor furniture and a braai. Access to Wi-Fi is available.
Children are welcome to visit the farm animals on the working farm. The property offers lovely views of the Langeberg mountain range. Guests can enjoy activities such as fresh-water fishing and swimming in the farm dam, exploring hiking and mountain biking trails on local farm roads, and bird watching.
