Tranquility on the farm. I traveled with my 4 pets. We needed overnight accommodation for a few nights. At Groendraai we were warmly received. The stable was neat, clean and very convenient for our needs. The animals soon calmed down and enjoyed the separated space. Groendraai is close to a whole lot of attractions, wine farms and a very cute shop (Potbelly). I visited a different place every day. I would really recommend Groendraai for leisurely travelers.

Travelled to Paarl for the Bike Fest and SA MTB Champs at Spice Route Paarl. Hope we get the chance to come back. Lovely appointed accommodation, beautiful farm. Sorry we only really got to spend the nights at the venue but we did get an afternoon to swim in the dam (definite highlight) but never got to use the lovely outdoor braai facilities etc due to our event commitments.

Fantastic, relaxing and worth it! An absolute must for a family with children who want to enjoy the tranquility of farm life, but be close to all the activities in and around Cape Town. Safe and absolutely a gem of a place. Children enjoyed all the interaction with the farm animals and the hospitality of the owners is top notch!
