Description
Dreamriver Guest House offers guest rooms and is situated on the banks of the beautiful Vaal River in Warrenton, approximately 70 km from Kimberley. The guest house is the ideal base from which to escape busy city life and enjoy lovely views of the river and the beautiful Northern Cape sunsets.
Accommodation at Dreamriver Guest House comprises various individually decorated rooms, units, and cabins, which can accommodate between 2 to 6 guests.
Rooms 1, 2, and 3 are located in the Middle House and can be rented separately by different guests or together for a group of 6 guests. Each room features an en-suite bathroom and contains a TV with selected DStv channels, a bar fridge, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. This house has a lovely full kitchen and open-plan dining and sitting room.
Units 4 and 5 are two log cabins. Each cabin can accommodate 3 guests and is furnished with a double bed and single sleeper coach (ideal for a child). Each cabin has a private bathroom. Unit 4 has a shower, while Unit 5 has a bath. Each cabin has a kitchenette with basic appliances including a microwave, kettle, bar fridge and sink and a Smart TV. Both cabins have a lovely porch with a picnic bench. Guests can sit outside or enjoy their breakfast there overlooking the garden.
Unit 9 is a modern self-catering luxury flat that is furnished with a double bed. The unit has an en-suite bathroom, a full kitchen with basic appliances including a microwave, oven, stove, fridge and kettle, and an open-plan living area with a dining table and a sitting room with a Smart TV. It has a second bedroom with 2 single beds, making this unit ideal for a family of 4. This unit is next to the swimming pool and lapa with braai facilities.
Dreamriver has an inverter and solar system , so guests are not exposed to the discomfort of loadshedding. A borehole with Jo-Jo tanks and pressure pumps ensures that guests never experience a water shortage.
A hearty breakfast and other delectable meals can be ordered from an à la carte menu. Meals are brought to you in the privacy of your room and food packs can be arranged as well. The kitchen closes at 18:00 - be sure to arrange timeously should you like to enjoy dinner.
The guest house offers free uncapped Wi-Fi access, a swimming pool, and braai facilities. Laundry services are available as well as secure covered parking.
Guests can go fishing, canoeing or bird watching by the river. There are resident chickens, ducks, horses, and four white Springbuck, that reside on the property as well.
