Description
Driftwood Dunes is a tastefully decorated self-catering cottage located in Melkbosstrand and is an ideal spot for a family holiday as it is situated a short 180 m from the beach.
This cottage can accommodate a total of 4 guests at a time and comprises 2 bedrooms and a bathroom fitted with a walk-in shower, washbasin and toilet. The air-conditioned main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and a dressing table. The second bedroom also has a double bed. All linen and bath towels are provided; however, guests are required to bring their own beach towels.
The living area features a kitchen fully equipped with a gas stove, electric oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. A dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer are also available. Leading from the kitchen is an open-plan lounge and dining area with ample seating. Access to free Wi-Fi is available. No smoking or pets are allowed inside or outside the cottage.
Outside the cottage, there is a private patio with a table and chairs as well as braai facilities. The location of this cottage is close to a MyCiTi bus stop which is convenient for public travelling. There are a few ocean-front restaurants a short drive away as well as local shopping centres.
The accommodation is a 20-minute walk from Melkbos' main beach and wonderful restaurants such as Die Damhuis, coffee shops such as The Daily and shops such as Woolworths, Clicks, a liquor store, Pick & Pay, PostNet, a hairdresser, butcher and Spur.
