Lovely setting and pool, but poor access, signage, and multiple maintenance issues. This is the first time I have felt the need to leave a review like this. The area itself is very nice, the house was clean, and the pool was great for relaxing in the hot sun. Unfortunately, there were several issues that impacted our stay. There is a lack of clear signage to the venue, which resulted in us ending up at a different location and needing assistance from locals to find the correct property. The access road is also more suitable for high-rise vehicles. The main bedroom toilet was not working, and the basin had very weak water pressure; the shower was the only positive in that bathroom. The air conditioner would run for about five minutes before tripping the power, making it unusable. The ceiling fan was connected to the light, so switching off the light stopped the fan as well. Power in the other guest suite also did not work. The fridge and freezer were functioning but did not cool sufficiently. The kitchen was not well equipped for a group of 10 people — there were not enough large plates, no steak knives, and insufficient seating both indoors and outdoors, which required us to get creative. That said, the river and the pool did help make up for some of these shortcomings.

Rustige atmosfeer. Baie netjiese geriewe. Rustige atmosfeer. Foto's kan misleidend wees, want cottages is nie teen die rivier geleë nie. Was 'n heerlike kuier!
