Description
Duck's Nest is a comfortably fully furnished self-catering unit, equipped with everything you need, it's home away from home. It has its' own private entrance behind an electric gate, with private, secure parking.
The property is situated approximately 8 km from Kruger National Park Malelane gate. It is an ideal base from which to explore the Lowveld and Panorama Routes, with the Mozambique and Swaziland borders both a short drive away. Alternatively enjoy a game of golf at Malelane Golf Course, Kambaku Golf Course in Komatipoort, or play on the wild side at Skukuza golf course.
The unit is serviced daily, except Sundays. Laundry service can be provided at a minimal fee.
Swimming pool on site, pool towels are provided for guests. Kitchen is fully equipped with gas stove, oven & gas geyser, appliances such as toaster, microwave, fridge-freezer, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. All crockery, cutlery, cooking pots, etc are provided. There are many board games and books for all ages to enjoy on a warm lowveld evening whilst sitting on the patio. Outdoor lighting completes the ambiance, whilst kiddies and adults alike can enjoy an evening dip in the pool, a braai or just a fire.
The unit can accommodate 4 guests, comprising 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The first bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and the second bedroom is furnished with single beds. A shared bathroom is fitted with a shower, wash basin and toilet. Filtered water is provided. Fibre WiFi is free, fast & unlimited. Smart TV connects to wifi to enable all streaming services. Air conditioners & ceiling fans keep you cool all year round.
We are not affected by Load Shedding - we have solar panels, inverters & batteries which keep everything going.
Load Shedding schedules are sent to guests every morning to keep guests up to date.
NOTE: Aircons will not run during load shedding, only ceiling fans, this is to preserve the battery life and ensure that guest are not left in the dark.......
