Fabulous and absolutely relaxing. Duifieklip enjoys a fabulous location right on a small beach with rocks and rock pools which we shared with a Guinea Fowl in the garden and a seal basking on a rock. The trawlers shuffling in and out of the nearby harbour added a pleasant distraction. The house was sumptuous and spotlessly clean. Fully equipped right down to an upright piano which, being non-musical, we did not play! We would have stayed longer but, sadly, with my relatives needing to catch a flight home, we could not. Recommended with confidence.

Lovely, affordable accommodation by the sea. Duifieklip was everything we hoped for and more! It was the ideal base for our day trips to towns like Paternoster and Langebaan, but actually wish we had more time to just lie on the deck chairs and stare out over the sea for a few days! It is right on the sea, with the most beautiful views. Lovely sunrise! On our first day we spotted a turtle in the garden and a seal on the rocks, barely 100 m from the house. During kayaking trips we saw more seals and sea life. In the evenings we enjoyed the board games and wide variety of reading material on the bookshelves! The beaches of a.o. Brittania Bay and Shelly Point are close by and here we also walked for kilometers along the sea.

Simply stunning! The accommodation is beautifully situated with no shortcomings. If anything, it is over and above well equipped! It feels like a home away from home with a great view and nearby shops. I will definitely visit here again! The hosts were very friendly and checked in to see if we settled in okay as well. Super comfortable, well equipped, gorgeous natural location on the ocean. My parents, brother and I stayed at Duifieklip for one week at the end of February 2024. I was torn about leaving a review because I don't want word to get out how fantastic this holiday home is! Lol! The location being on the ocean is spectacular. The garden leading to the ocean is so pretty, filled with a huge variety of birds, and hearing the birds chirping made our holiday special. The sounds of the gulls and the waves created a feeling of peace. The house itself was more than perfect! It had everything one would want for a truly comfortable vacation. There are so many features to mention at Duifieklip: The downstairs braai area/stoep with table was perfect, the lounge, kitchen, downstairs dining area, upstairs patio with unbelievable views. Each of the bedrooms had ensuite bathrooms. The garage had an extra fridge with washer and dryer. Kayaks, life vests, sun umbrellas and so much more to make for a perfect, perfect holiday. We felt very safe as the house has an alarm system and is well situated for safety. The house is close to a local shopping village, the Spar and several lovely restaurants. Paternoster is 20-30 mins away, Stompneus baai has a lovely beach and we found lots to do in the area. All in all, we did not want for a thing and our expectations were exceeded.

Everything we wanted and then some! Will definitely be back when next in SA. We had the best time at Duifieklip celebrating my 40th birthday. We were 6 adults and toddlers. The house has everything you need, it's right on the beach and the garden is perfect for kids to play. We had the most relaxing weekend sitting outside, playing board games and strolling down to the beach to go fishing & kayaking. The house was clean with an impressive library, every kitchen utensil you could ever need and an inverter in case of load shedding. We all said we would definitely be back! What a beautiful home in a beautiful part of South Africa.
