Description
Duma Manzi Eco Lodge and Spa is a beautiful wellness and wildlife retreat set on a 5000-hectare nature reserve nestled in a lush valley in the Natal Midlands. It offers unique accommodation with an African-inspired theme and boasts spectacular views of the surrounding river and mountains.
Accommodation is provided in a selection of tastefully furnished bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and a private entrance. Some of the rooms have a private rock splash pool or fibre-glass pool, while other rooms share a rock pool or fibre-glass pool between them. In-room facilities include tea- and coffee-making facilities.
The main lodge is beautifully decorated in a classic African style and features a bar deck which overlooks the river, a boma, shared dining rooms and a lounge area, and conference facilities. There is also a spa which offers holistic treatments, and a formal lounge fitted with a TV, pool table and board games to keep guests entertained.
The Midlands Meander is dotted with charming villages that offer an assortment of accommodations, wedding venues, restaurants and cafés, rural country activities, wildlife reserves, adventure sports, trout farms, historical landmarks, and unique arts and crafts.
