Just what we needed as a family (quiet and comfortable). The stay was everything we expected and more. The house was clean, had everything we needed and was very secure (accidentally set off the alarm twice and security was there in a flash).

Our stay was amazing. For the price, it was more than expected. Cosy little place within walking distance to the beach, waterfront, and the Jolly Roger. The cottage just needs an ironing board and some coasters.

All in all it was a good little holiday home and I would book it again. Top marks for the location of Dunesberry, very close to the beach. Considering my booking was for a long stay, we were able to find a few flaws and maybe things to consider to add or change, namely: a tap out the front to rinse off beach sand, move the washing line (things impossible to dry at the back with no sun), a mirror in the main bedroom, and maybe giving the bathroom floor tiles a good scrub. One thing we were not able to make use of was the fireplace due to the glass being broken, but we were happy that a gas heater was provided. Was delicious. The cottage was lovely to stay in. The beds and bedding were just excellent. We slept so well. It truly felt like a 5 star hotel. Unfortunately there was no complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, milk, biscuits or water. It was quite disappointing. Otherwise we had a great time.

Paternoster is a delightful surprise. The house is beautiful. Lovely, terribly cold, only duvet on master bedroom bed, no blanket as we have electric blankets! We don't like to sleep with an electric blanket all night. Gas heater outside operation, oil heater so-so. Stofie's glass is broken, but we could still use it. We really need blankets.
