Breakage Deposit
A refundable breakage deposit of R1000 is payable directly to the property.
House Rules
As a registered heritage building, a guided walk-through of the castle will be provided before check-in to explain key details and ensure the preservation of its features. This process will confirm that all antiques, memorabilia, old items, and furniture are left in the same condition as at check-in.
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the castle.
Running or jumping on the original wooden floors is not allowed, as these floors are irreplaceable.
Families with children are encouraged to use the outdoor garden for play and to supervise children for their safety.
Playing or running inside the building is strongly discouraged.
The antique snooker table must be used with care and under adult supervision.
Fires are strictly prohibited in all rooms except for the kitchen wood stove.
Antique bathtubs throughout the castle are primarily decorative. Guests requiring a bath should use the green or blue bathrooms on the ground floor instead of the antique tubs.
