Nice place to stay. Very nice place to stay, clean and comfortable, just a lot of unnecessary noise throughout the night.

Worst stay ever! Only appropriate course of action is a refund. This was arguably the worst place I have booked via the website. In my ratings above, I only gave 1 star because there's no option for half or zero stars. Power issues. There was a power outage in the area, which was in no way Eagle's Nest's fault. However, they did fall short in making sure they had an adequate backup plan. The generator was running, but while it was running they asked us not to use the microwave or kettle, which was a huge inconvenience considering the weather at that time. When running on the generator, the power kept tripping. There's an electricity meter in the room and each time the power tripped and came back on, the meter made a loud, annoying beeping sound that required me to press a button on the meter to turn off the sound. Whilst I could turn off the sound in my own room, I couldn't do so in the neighbouring rooms, where the sound would go on for a while. This on-and-off situation happened throughout the day and into the night, and twice in the early hours of the morning my sleep was interrupted because the sound went off. The fridge also stopped working during the stay, which resulted in warm beverages and melted ice cream. Cleanliness. The room had ants crawling all over the sink and kitchen counter. We brought back a box of pizza to eat for dinner and left it on the countertop. The box was closed. 30 minutes later, the pizza was overrun with ants and we had to throw away the whole box due to the infestation. There was no water supply to the tap on the sink, so there was no way of rinsing any of the glasses we used, and given the fact that ants were comfortably roaming the room, it was no surprise to find the used glasses crawling with ants the next morning. The hand wash in our room was not replenished prior to our arrival. We asked reception for a refill and they said they would bring it to the room; they never did, so we didn't have hand wash for the duration of our stay. Communication. We booked a stay inclusive of breakfast. When we checked in, reception failed to communicate any arrangements regarding where and when breakfast would be served. In the morning, I called reception to ask about breakfast and the person who answered the phone said breakfast would either be brought to the room or we would have to go to the dining room, and they would call back to confirm which it would be. They never called back. Food quality. The food served at breakfast just didn't taste great at all. I could not even finish my plate and had to go buy breakfast at a restaurant.

Very dirty. Horribly unsanitary rooms. All surfaces were covered with greasy finger marks probably from the previous occupants. The bath towels supplied were smelly.

I had an exceptional stay at the Eagle Nest Accommodation. Great, I really enjoyed my stay at Eagle Nest Luxury Accommodation.

Disappointed. The place is beautiful and easily accessible. I will not book it anymore because the room smells of cigarette. It is so bad; it's the first thing you smell when you walk into the room. When I asked the guy about it, he said all the rooms are like that. The person helping at reception was not presentable. At the front desk, you should have someone who portrays the image and the face of the place. I'm not sure if that's how you want to show your first impression. I also had to send proof that I paid via WhatsApp. Surely that is something you should pick up on my reservation. The room was also very cold and there was no heater. Yes, the electric blanket was there, but if I wanted to sit and relax, I could not do that. I was forced to get in bed to get warm. I was really disappointed.

I do not recommend, very disappointed. Queen bed was broken on one side. The duvets had yellow stains. The light bulbs did not work, room was dark. The WiFi did not work at all. Showering was a struggle because there was no water pressure. After the 2nd day, they replaced the light bulbs, and suddenly the plugs in the room did not work anymore to charge a phone (only the plug for the kettle at the window). The worker lay on the foyer benches and watched very loud stories on his phone through the night. And at 5:00 in the mornings, they will clean the passages and wake everybody up because of the noise.

Pathetic. I’ve had several issues regarding my stay at the Eagle Nest Luxury Accommodation. Before arrival, I requested a refund as there were no air conditioners and the lady was not responding. So, I checked in and overlooked the situation. During my stay, I was woken up at 6:30 in the morning by noisy guests, and the reception staff was laughing with them. They apologised, but I asked to be moved, which then led to no DSTV in our room and no hot water at all.
