Rhodes Cottages - Eaglescraig is a spacious, colonial-style sandstone house situated on a farm in the Wartrail area between Rhodes and Barkly East, in the Eastern Cape. It’s suitable for larger groups and families looking for an exclusive getaway with mountainscapes to explore and rivers to fish.
This house sleeps 9 guests and comprises 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, and a living area. The main bedroom has a queen-size bed and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, toilet, and washbasin. The second and third bedrooms each have 2 single beds and the fourth bedroom has 1 queen-size bed and 1 single bed. The second bathroom is also fitted with a bath, shower, toilet, and washbasin.
The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, a coal stove, a gas stove and oven, a microwave, cutlery and crockery, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. There’s a dining table with chairs where guests can enjoy their meals together. There are two living rooms, each furnished furnished with a lounge suite and a fireplace. The main living room also has a pool table. Free Wi-Fi is available and solar power is used in case of power outages.
The spacious veranda has outdoor furniture where guests can enjoy the lush garden and admire the majestic Southern Drakensberg mountains in the distance. Secure parking is available on the premises.
