And your own private deck overlooking Walker Bay! The décor is something else, with interesting antiques and rugs and intriguing books. And soothing art - even in the spacious bathroom. Special touches make the difference, such as fresh flowers, luxury linen and an invigorating shower, not to mention warm and gracious hospitality. So enjoyed my stay.

Ruim woonstel met 'n verruklike uitsig wat heeltyd verander. Heerlik ontspan terwyl ons die Groter Gansbaai verken het. Carol en Don is aangename, konsidererende en toeganklike mense. 70m² Oopplan-woonstel met 18m² uitsigdek omring met tuinplante en voēls. Uitstekende waarde vir geld met die afslag boonop.

Perfek gelee met wonderlike uitsig. Rustig. My verblyf was lekker en rustig. Was net 'n oornagstop oppad na Kaapstad. Sal beslis weer van akkommodasie gebruik maak.

Rustig. Braai. Mooi uitsig. WiFi. Verseker waarde vir geld. Ons kon heerlik braai met 'n stunning uitsig. Gedurende loadshedding was daar liggies binne wat brand. Daar was koffie, beskuit asook melk/water in yskas beskikbaar. Rustige area. WiFi beskikbaar. Ek en my man met woefie het heerlike lekker gebly.

Ons kuiertjie was heeeeeltemal te kort. This is a “Whoo-hoo-hoo, what a wonderful place” review. Eirene’s Place has everything you need – a beautifully decorated apartment, a comfortable bed with bespoke linen, a luxurious bathroom, a very enticing book collection, and everything you need to prepare yourself a meal. Add to this a spectacular sea view, and you are in heaven. You know what? This is where our “Whoo-hoo-hoo” experience started. We were invited to attend a wedding at Murasie in Baardskeerdersbos and had booked (some three months ago) for a Friday and Saturday evening. Life happens, so our circumstances changed between booking our accommodation and the actual date. That Friday, we helped our son move into a flat because he was starting a new job. At the end of the Friday, we realised that we were complete ‘poegaai’, so driving to De Kelders would have just been a schlep rather than a joy. So, we called Don and Carol to tell them not to wait for us. Upon arrival on Saturday late morning, Don and Carol invited us for a light breakfast before we leave on Sunday … on the house! And there we were … sitting like millionaires on a deck where you can see forever (just like in the picture), waves crashing on the rocks, and dolphins frolicking in the waves. The breakfast? A ‘light’ breakfast? Bah! Thanks, Don and Carol for an unforgettable experience.
