Eirene Place is situated in De Kelders, Gansbaai and offers comfortable accommodation in a spacious studio apartment with a private deck that features a garden and partial sea views. Walker Bay is a premier dolphin and whale-watching site, the southern right mothers and calves, can be viewed just meters off the rocks for hours and heard through the night.
The apartment has a private entrance and offers a lock-up garage and secure parking for guests. The open-plan apartment comprises a double bed, lounge area, and bathroom fitted with a shower. The kitchenette provides a fridge, microwave oven, hot plate and kettle. Wi-fi is available as well as a TV with certain channels. A cot can be added for a young child on request.
Breakfast is served on the upper deck which has a sweeping panorama of Walker Bay from Hangklip to De Kelders, Hermanus and Klein Rivier mountains, and beach and cliff views.
Guests can visit Walker Bay Nature Reserve which offers spectacular coastal and dune walks, as well as archaeological caves of historical interest. The fynbos is an added attraction with many plants endemic to the region. Other activities and attractions in the surrounding area include shark-cage diving, whale cruises, a 9-hole golf course, and wine tasting.
