Elegant Guesthouse is privately owned and managed by Arthur and Santie Mc Dermott. Elegant was established in 2007. Surrounded by huge indigenous trees, ferns, palms, cycads and many other tropical and subtropical plants make this guesthouse a great choice to relax and to enjoy the South-African sunshine, culture and great atmosphere.
We have nine (9) unique private bedrooms that all feature on-suite bathroom equipped with a shower or bath , wash basin, fridge, TV with full DStv hotel package, Netflix, free Wi-Fi available 24 hours a day, a safe , mirrors, cutlery, hairdryer, microwave, kettle and ample coffee and tea in the room to make you our guest feel at home. All rooms differ in style and features to make it a unique experience for all whether guests are local, foreign tourist or a backpacker.
There is ample safe parking. The guesthouse also has a borehole to provide water 24/7 ( as we experience serious water restrictions). The establishment also went green and installed a 24 Kw solar system with 40Kwh battery backup for your convenience due to Eskom's load shedding. Elegant also has a 3-phase generator as backup should we experience long cloudy days and loadshedding.
All our rooms, the dining area and lounge are airconditioned. Elegant also upgraded the WiFi system to give you 100% internet reception with fibre from Frogfoot.
With Elegant Guesthouse to feel at home is not a cliché but a lifestyle and accept that although guests are on holiday or in Polokwane on business, we want guests to feel at home and enjoy a welcome stay.
We are 5.5 km from Mall of the North, 3.2 km, s from Savannah Mall, 1.6 km from the Municipal pool, 750 meters from Mediclinic and 2.8 km from Peter Mokaba stadium.
