A wonderful weekend at the cottage! Would definitely recommend. Staying at Elephants Trail Cottage was such a delight. The cottage was well furnished and equipped with everything we needed for a great weekend in Franschhoek. We really enjoyed the view, service and our weekend at the cottage.

Beautiful, serene, unique. This was one of our favourite stays ever! The location is absolutely amazing, where you're nestled in a valley, surrounded by stunning views! It's about 5 minutes from town, which we loved since it was close but felt very secluded. The apartment has everything you need, and even though it's built next to the house, you don't feel it at all. The staff was very friendly and responsive! Our only disappointment was that we were unable to use the pool as it was not yet ready, I think because of winter; however, we could swim in the dams if we wanted to. We did do a trail up the valley and it was gorgeous getting a view of the dams from higher up. Our stay felt too short, and we hope to go back again soon!

Amazing views of the valley. The accommodation was well-kept and everything we needed was available in the cottage. We also received a complimentary bottle of their wine and enjoyed it. The pool was great to swim in and view the valley below and the surrounding mountains while taking a swim. The garden was beautiful with proteas and other indigenous plants, very well-kept and with an abundance of birds. Great for nature lovers. It was peaceful and the views from the cottage were breathtaking. Will definitely recommend it.
