Lying in the heart of Nieu-Bethesda, Eastern Cape. Elke's Guesthouse can accommodate up to 7 guests. Nieu Bethesda is a quaint little village with many restaurants and coffee shops. The world famous Owl House is in the heart of the village and is an attraction visited by more than 15 000 visitors every year.
Accommodation comprises 2 bedrooms. The first bedroom has a double bed and a single bed, the other bedroom is furnished with a double bed. The main bathroom is wheel-chair friendly with shower and toilet. The second bathroom also shower and toilet. A sleeper couch in the lounge area can sleep two people.
This accommodation is wheelchair friendly.
The open-plan dining, lounge and kitchen area boast great views of the mountain. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, stove and oven and tea & coffee making facilities. The unit has a large garden with braai facilities, and an indoor fireplace.
Please note that Nieu Bethesda has no petrol station, bank or credit card facilities.
Guests can enjoy activities such as cycling, hiking, mountain biking, game drives, and bird watching in the area. Nearby attractions include Camdeboo National Park and the Valley of Desolation. Enjoy a climb up Kompasberg, the highest freestanding peak outside the Stormberg-Drakensberg massif.
