Poor maintenance, definitely won't go there again. We did not have a nice experience at Elsea at all. Things like the drains that pushed up and washed out from the first use with washing machine as advertised took 4 days to fix and our kids couldn't play nearby because of this. Had no water for two days. Every second glass that is taken, we have to wash it before we can use it. Gasrou was in the yard every day to 'check up'. Most of the things we took don't work: sofa, bathtub, air conditioner, railing on the deck that had the most beautiful view, we couldn't use it with our children because there were broken curtains that were a danger to the children were One fridge hardly gets cold at all and there were quite a few things that were not up to standard that we used. Disappointing. The host Felicity was absolutely efficient in her job. We were given a warm welcome and appreciate her efforts, that being said the place could do with a proper spring clean, there were spiders webs hanging off the walls, dust so thick on the ceiling fans it was hard to miss, the standup fans couldn’t be switched on as the dust was flying everywhere when it was switched on, our kids ended up with cough attacks, the carpet could do with a proper scrub and vacuum as that too was dusty. The plugs in kitchen not working and the gas cylinder is not filled. Elsea could be a real gem if given a proper clean-up and possibly a good interior deco, too much unnecessary clutter lying around.

We had a wonderful stay at Elsea. The house is very clean and big. It can accommodate 10 people and a toddler comfortably. The sea view from the deck is amazing. The beach and the tidal pools are just minutes walk from the house. The owner are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay at Elsea again.
