Excelsior Manor Guesthouse is a farmhouse set amongst the vines of the Robertson Wine Valley on a working wine farm. The Cape Dutch Revival Manor, once a family home, has been lovingly restored and offers elegant comfort and serenity along with personal hospitality.
The guesthouse offers 9 spacious en-suite bedrooms which are named after horses that were bred at Excelsior and offer luxury accommodation. In-room facilities include water, tea- and coffee-making facilities, electric blankets in winter, slippers and robes, bathroom amenities as well as magazines.
The southern face of the house opens onto a wooden deck, surrounding a deep blue swimming pool. This elevated, but secluded deck offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the vineyards, the Langeberg, splendid sunsets and generally the ‘kingdom’ of this fertile valley.
The large garden offers many old trees and a refuge in tranquillity with fragrant old roses and a rose labyrinth to restore one’s soul.
The guesthouse also offers conferencing facilities ideal for conferences, presentations and meetings that take a decidedly fresh turn at Excelsior. Excelsior’s conference centre offers opportunities for executive management teams to hold strategic planning sessions on a working wine farm.
