Farmhouse Lodge offers bed and breakfast and is situated in the tranquil suburb of Hilldrop, in Newcastle. This lodge is ideally located 3 minutes drive from central Newcastle; which is located at the foothills of the Northern Drakensberg mountains.
Lights stay on at the Farmhouse Lodge! Thanks to the recently-installed solar power system, guests won't be left in the dark during loadshedding. Lights, the TV and Wi-Fi will work without interruption. The aircon, kettle, microwave, fridge and plugs will not function during loadshedding.
Accommodation at Farmhouse Lodge comprises 16 individually decorated rooms. These rooms are furnished with either a queen-size bed, a double bed or twin beds, and each room features an en-suite bathroom. In addition, each room contains free Wi-Fi Internet, air-conditioning, a desk, a TV with selected DStv channels, a safe to store valuables, a bar fridge, tea- and coffee-making facilities and other luxuries.
The lodge also features a swimming pool, a braai area, and a guest lounge. Laundry services are by arrangement, and the lodge offers secure parking for vehicles.
Farmhouse Lodge is also located a few minute's drive from Blackrock Casino, Newcastle Mall, and other facilities in the town.
