Excellent. A beautiful location with a view across the ocean. Super comfy beds. The room was well-equipped with coffee, cookies, and fruit. Mark was a delightful host: friendly and engaging. Restaurants are a quick pop across the road, and the food at Shakies, Sitar, and the cafe opposite Pam Golding were all superb. Fijnbos Manor is definitely on my "Return To" list! (Breakfast was good, but was R110, not as priced on the website (R79). In retrospect, would have gone back to the cafe for something special instead.)

Lovely old house with view of ocean. We were desperately looking for accommodation and the friendly host assisted us immediately. Lovely large room and bathroom. Could enjoy the view from the stoep! I can recommend Fijnbos Manor.

Quality stay at Fijnbos Manor. I have had the opportunity to meet the owner as I booked in and he immediately made me feel welcome and at home. They are still in the process some repairs / upgrading the building and from what I could see, Fijnbos Manor will definitely become a popular destination. The owner def have an eye for detail and think the lodge will be beautiful once completed. The lodge is situated in such a perfect spot, easy access to the beach, local pub where the locals were just as friendly and inviting as at the lodge.

Hartlike ontvangs, vriendelike en toeganklike gasvrou en -heer, behulpsame personeel, huislike atmosfeer. Fijnbos is baie akkommoderend vir redelike versoeke vanaf gaste, wat gaste daar baie tuis laat voel.

Dit was baie aangenaam. Ons het 'n warm ontvangs gekry. Die veiligheid is sigbaar, nie net vir jou nie maar vir die motors ook. Die mense is vriendelik en laat jou sommer tuis voel. Ek sal enige tyd die plek aanbeveel vir ander gaste ook. Jy het ook 'n voorreg om die vroeë see breeze te kan kry.

Goeie ligging met baie potensiaal, maar kort opgradering. Voel glad nie mens kry waarde vir geld nie, absoluut die teenoorgestelde. On-entoesiastiese assistent met ontvangs, geen informasie t.o.v. "Loadshedding" nie (twee keer op een dag), geen vuurhoutjies of aansteker vir twee mankolieke kerse nie. Voordeur bly nie toe tensy dit gesluit is nie. Stort is in die bad - baie "fancy" stortkop, maar water-stelknop is gebreek. Hele badkamer is in die 70's vasgevang. Ontbyt was ekstra - maar hulle adverteer as B&B? Foto van kamer is akkuraat, maar baie slim van Fijnbos om nie die badkamer in te sluit in die fotos nie!

Verblyf het voldoen aan behoeftes. Wanneer 'n mens bespreek vir bed en ontbyt word dit algemeen aanvaar dat mens betaal vir die hele ervaring en dat ontbyt ingesluit is in die prys. In hierdie geval was die prys van R100 vir ontbyt (nogal buitensporig) nie ingesluit in die prys nie. Daar was ook geen melding op die webtuiste dat ontbyt nie in die prys per nag ingesluit is nie. Indien ek bewus was daarvan sou ek eerder na ander moontlikhede gekyk het wat wel ontbyt insluit. Reisigers moet vooraf vasstel of ontbyt wel ingesluit is al dan nie.
