Florie se Huis is a restored self-catering farmhouse located against the Old Dutoitskloof Pass in Paarl, on a working farm where vines, plums, lemons, and olives are cultivated.
This elegantly furnished home can accommodate up to 4 guests at a time and comprises 2 en-suite bedrooms. Each bedroom is comfortably furnished with a king-size bed, and each bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet, and washbasin. Quality linen and bath towels are provided.
The home boasts a spacious, fully equipped kitchen that includes a gas stove, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, and a breakfast bar with stools. The open-plan lounge and dining area have ample space for guests to dine and relax, along with an indoor fireplace. For guest entertainment, a TV and access to free Wi-Fi are available.
The living area opens onto a covered patio with outdoor seating, a wood-fired hot tub and a built-in braai surrounded by old oak trees, overlooking vineyards, the Taalmonument, Table Mountain, the Paarl Klip, and the town. Secure parking is available.
The farm is situated at the foot of Middagberg, next to Wildepaardejacht River. Guests can hike mountain trails and even swim in the natural pools in the river. There are many dirt roads on the farm for walking, between the vineyards and orchards.
