It was great. The surrounding area is peaceful and calming, as are the lodgings. It was great for a few days of unwinding. Neil, Walter and Florence were very accommodating hosts, especially considering that our youngest fell ill on the day of our arrival. We enjoyed the stay overall; it kept our kids busy and us relaxed. Definitely no frills.

Very convenient. Place is safe and clean. We have stayed here 2 times now. Was nice and warm with the fireplace in the winter and cool in the summer. Children enjoy the space and nature! Napier is a very nice town! You can barbecue if you want, but Napier has nice restaurants, so no need to cook!
