Quiet, modern, well-equipped house with panoramic view and excellent service. Fynbosrust was a festival. If you want total silence, but with comfort, this is the place for you. The cottage is tastefully laid out, with beautiful carpets. The kitchen and other facilities are comprehensive. There is a comfortable outdoor barbecue on a veranda with a mountain view like few. Inside, the fireplace is also nice. Carin is an excellent hostess: she often followed up with us, made suggestions. In addition, she was also very helpful after the stay: we forgot a bag of toys there and she made an enormous effort to get that bag back to us (in the midst of bad weather). There are beautiful hiking trails and we would love to come back again to enjoy them - and the cottage. Highly recommend.

Fynbosrust gives rest to your soul. Absolute "gem" of a place. There is everything you need and more. The team's attention to detail is remarkable. Her communication from start to finish is flawless. Would really recommend to anyone looking to get away from the busy city.

Such a delightful little house, beautifully situated in the mountain overlooking the Bree River valley. Most beautiful decor! Located in such a beautiful area! Perfect getaway from the Cape, not too far to drive and so secluded, you can't help but switch off!

Breathtaking! Very tidy and well equipped with modern facilities including a Nespresso machine. Beautiful setting with mouse dogs, badgers and birds visible from the front porch. Pet-friendly restaurants close to accommodation (Calabash and the Orchard). Baboons were a bit troublesome especially because we Schnauzers wanted to play with them but that is just part of nature where we share their habitat.

Fantastic, peaceful, beautiful scenery! We had a wonderful stay - the house is perfectly furnished with everything you need. View over the valley is beautiful. Nature sounds are refreshing after the city noise. Nice that you are isolated, because our dogs could walk around without bothering others. The area also has nice places to visit such as Monk's Gin for nice gin tasting.
