Description
Geluksfontein Game Farm is set on a game farm that is a mere 50 km outside the centre of Pretoria.
The Cottage Unit sleeps up to 12 people in 4 bedrooms. Bedding and bath towels are provided. Each room is furnished with a double bed and a single bed. Each room has an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Each room is also equipped with tea- and coffee-making facilities and a fan. Each room has its own private entrance.
Family Unit comprises 6 bedrooms and 1 bathroom plus a guest toilet. These rooms are located in the main house. Each room is furnished with a double bed. The rooms share a bathroom with a corner bath, a basin and a toilet as well as a guest toilet.
Both units make use of the main house with a communal large kitchen, fridge-freezer, gas stove, microwave, scullery, indoor braai with counter and sink, all utensils are available. Bar area with fridge-freezer and basin. A lounge with table tennis, a sound system and a TV with selected DStv channels.
Other on-site facilities include a portable swimming pool, braai facilities and a boma area. Game drives and sunset cruises are available at an additional cost. Self-drive game drives are allowed.
Game on the farm includes impala, nyala, warthog, meerkat, jackal, blue wildbeats, ostrich, zebra, and other free-roaming game such as kudu.
Geluksfontein Game Farm is only 7 km from Dinokeng Game Reserve and the town of Cullinan is a mere 27.6 km away with a variety of shops. Attractions in the area include The Cullinan Diamond Mine, Leeukloof Valley, Willem Prinsloo Agricultural Museum, Mystic Monkeys and Feathers Wildlife Park, Rietvlei Nature Reserve, Pebble Rock Gold Club, Bushman's Rock Spa, Arlington Brewery and Cidery, and Lion and Cheetah Sanctuary.
