Our stay was very nice. I can recommend that they make a kitchen for their staff so that guests can have privacy. The place is clean and beautiful except for the bushveld that are always on our doorstep and they end up being rude and my 3-year-old kids were no longer free to play outside.

It was beautiful and serene. Best stay we had at the bush in a long time. We enjoyed it. We had a wonderful stay but loadshedding was a real downer. The owner should perhaps consider a gas stove and install battery or solar powered lights to enhance the experience during loadshedding. All in all it was a beautiful experience and we enjoyed it immensely. Zodwa is also a great host and very knowledgeable about the area. The inside shower was a bit small for someone tall and the taps need to be checked as well.

Average stay overall. Our bed was exceptionally comfortable with high quality linen. Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate is a special place with beautiful wildlife and beautiful nightlife. We had a great time, very homely and tidy, Zodwa was friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious, really enjoyed the animal life - will definitely come again! We had a great time at Gem Bateleur.
