Description
GemAfrica is a cosy self-catering holiday home, set in a very tranquil location in the heart of the Garden Route’s Langvlei Dunes. The house borders the Wilderness National Park, is surrounded by nature, rich bird life and wildlife and is only 5 minutes away from some spectacular beaches.
The house can accommodate up to 4 guests and comprises 2 en-suite bedrooms, and an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. The first bedroom contains a queen-size bed, and the second bedroom contains 2 single beds. Each bedroom has a shower en suite with a toilet and washbasin.
The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering and includes a fridge-freezer, hob, microwave, and kettle. The dining area contains a 5-seater dining table and chairs. There is also a work desk and chair. The lounge area offers comfortable seating and a TV. The living area opens to a private deck with a picnic bench and braai facilities, where you can relax and enjoy the natural surroundings.
Guests can make use of a communal swimming pool on the property. There is also a children's jungle gym.
GemAfrica has recently gone off the grid, so guests do not have to experience load shedding.
GemAfrica is the ideal place to access, explore and enjoy a wide variety of walks, hiking and mountain biking trails, boating and canoeing. It is also a birder’s and nature lover’s paradise. With the area being one of the top 10 paragliding sites in the world, it is also a haven for paragliders.
The holiday home of GemAfrica is managed by your German-South African hosts, Anke and Falk, who will gladly and happily assist you and advise you of all that there is to do in the area and help you to plan your daily trips.
