Description

Good Riddin's Beach Cottage is a lovely self-catering family getaway cottage, ideal to relax and recharge body and soul in the ‘barefoot capital’ of Kenton-on-Sea. The neighbourhood is generally very peaceful and the beautiful trees surrounding the property attract awesome bird life, including the red-bill hornbill and Knysna turaco.

Kenton-on-Sea is situated between 2 rivers namely, the Kariega River and Boesmansrivier, both rivers flow into the Indian Ocean. It is 120 km from Port Elizabeth, 150 km from East London and 60 km from Makhanda (Grahamstown).

The Cottage is approximately 300 m from the lagoon and pristine beaches where there are plenty of activities to be enjoyed. It is also within close distance to the shopping centre, doctor, dentist and restaurants

The cottage is situated behind the main house, but has its own private entrance. The cottage can accommodate up to 4 guests and contains 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an open-plan kitchen and living area. The first bedroom contains a double bed and a shower en suite with a toilet and washbasin. The second bedroom contains 2 single beds. The second bathroom contains a shower, a toilet and a washbasin. Shower gel, hand wash and cleaning agents are provided. We have a camping cot and baby bath available for toddlers.

The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering with a 2-plate mini-stove and oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle, and toaster. The lounge features seating and a TV connected to the internet with access to various social media apps and premium DStv. Free uncapped Wi-Fi is available.

Outside, there is a braai area with outdoor dining furniture for guests to make use of.1 bag of wood, lighter and fire lighter will be supplied. There is parking for 1 car, behind a remote-controlled gate. A few games are provided and boogie boards are available should anyone wish to use them in the waves.
