Description
Sneeuberg Nature Reserve, located in the heart of the Great Karoo between Nieu Bethesda and Middelburg in the Eastern Cape, spans 14,500 hectares. The reserve is home to Nguni cattle and various antelope species. Guests can enjoy an authentic yet luxurious Karoo experience.
Gordonville Cottage @ Sneeuberg Nature Reserve can accommodate 4 guests and comprises 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a bath, shower, basin, and toilet. The second bedroom has 2 single beds with an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, basin, and toilet. Linen and towels are provided.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas hob, crockery, cutlery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. It extends to the lounge furnished with comfy couches and boasts a lovely fireplace.
Although there are warm days, it always cools down in the evening and in winter this property regularly has snow. The mountains are an important catchment area for water. There are no predators, so it is safe to walk, jog, and cycle through the reserve enjoying the landscape and wildlife.
