Beautiful place, friendly staff, but rather for a couple, or whole family. As a solo traveler this time, a TV would have been welcome. Amazing to hear the trickle of water all the time, but I'm not sure if the rooms further from the trickle could hear it. To me it sounded like I was at the sea. It's a winding road both ways when you exit the premises, and no lights on the road, which makes it difficult for a solo traveler to drive out for dinner in the evening, and the guest house does not have dinner options. Parking is not very close to your room - I suggest someone is available, especially to help solo travelers with their luggage to the room. Furthermore, it was really amazing, very nice breakfast, and very friendly staff.

Amazing! The stay we had at Gowan Valley Guest Farm had the most amazing view and setting. Just the right accommodation to unwind from the hustle and bustle of the city life. The Room was perfect. Breakfast was great. I would definitely recommend Gowan Valley Guest Farm.

Beautiful, idyllic setting, with warm and welcoming hosts. From the first moment you drive into Gowan Valley, you know that you're going to have a restful experience. Everything about Gowan Valley seems carefully considered and meticulously prepared, from the beautiful breakfast area that overlooks the river, to the well-appointed rooms that are spacious, bright, and comfortable.
