What a surprise! First impression - where did I check us in? Lasting impression - what a gem. What falls short with the normal amenities such as television, shops, etc. was made up with the friends we made with chats in the bar of Graafwater. Arriving at a closed front door after a long day's travel, and not having your phone calls answered is frustrating and in fact annoying! Unfortunately I cannot give a good review based on my experience. And it was mainly due to the hotel not answering their phones. I phoned earlier in the day to find out about supper and had no answer, on arrival the front door was locked, I rang the bell and nobody came to answer. I then dialed the landline number again and the phone rang in the bar behind a security gate, but again nobody in sight. In the end I had to walk around to the back of the hotel and then had someone showing me to the room. I got the feeling I was not expected, the fridge was not switched on which is inconvenient when trying keep thing cold. It's just small things but it matters. The room was clean though and if you just need a place to sleep and expect nothing else then it will suffice I suppose.
