Value for money, backpackers/hostel type accommodation. Clean and tidy. We used the Greyton EcoLodge when we attended the Fools and Fans Craft Beer festival. We had a very nice stay and for the cost, and what we got, it was exactly what we needed.

Basic but homely. Very comfortable 'backpackers'. Janet and staff were available for any queries. Just need to refurbish the one bathroom near the twin rooms on the 1st floor. Hi Adele, Thank you for your review. There is nothing more that I would like to do than refurbish and upgrade many aspects of this building. It is a government building and we rent it from the primary school next door. They are a no-fee school and do not have the funds to maintain their building. We do our best, step by step as budget allows, as we keep our prices in line with backpackers and what guests can expect for what they pay. We also provide affordable accommodation in Greyton. This old building has been transformed from an unused school hostel to a backpackers and venue where large groups, such as yours, can stay at a very affordable price. We lease the building from the government school next door and our rent pays the salaries of some of the teachers. We do our best to keep the old place as clean as possible and are always improving and upgrading.
