Description
Greyton Toad Hall is a charming guesthouse available for sole use for groups- and from time to time we rent individual rooms. Situated right in the heart of Greyton it offers deluxe and convenient accommodation within 5 mins walking distance of the town's restaurants, bars, and shops.
There are many on site facilities for guests to enjoy such as the largest swimming pool in town- a whopping 10 by 5m saltwater, gas and charcoal braais, a wood-fired pizza oven and outdoor dining spaces with tables and chairs. Let’s not forget our 10-seater wood-fired hot tub (needs 24 hour notice for first use) with complimentary wood provided for the first night.
We can hold up to 18 people as standard (children under age of 3 do not count towards the number). From time to time, and at additional cost, we also have two deluxe kings in the historical house ( one of which is the four poster honeymoon suite). Thus bringing total occupancy to 22. Now and again we rent individual rooms.
The property has two indoor entertaining areas for you and your guests- a lounge with a fireplace, sofas, books, games and smart tv with Netflix. Adjacent is a fully equipped kitchen/ dining room with a fridge, freezer, 20l air fryer, crockery, glassware and cutlery for 22 guests and a 14-seater dining table. Additional seating/tables abound the 1500 square metre fully enclosed garden- ensuring full privacy.
Each room is separate with its own private garden entrance and is furnished with luxury beds and mattress toppers and en-suite bathrooms with a shower or bath with shower overhead. Configurations include 2 twins, 2 twin/kings, 1 king, 1 king xl and a 4 single bed dorm unit. Every room has coffee/ tea making facilities and our signature locally made luxury hand and body wash and body cream.
Entertainment facilities on site include croquet, boules, swimming resistance bands, pool floaties, loungers, pool towels, SONOS Bluetooth speaker system and umbrellas.
We provide guests with details of a range of local suppliers and activities that they can book- from massages in the garden/rooms, caterers, drinks staff, guided walks in the nature reserve to the many waterfalls/ river swimming spots, cleaning services during your stay, restaurant deliveries/bookings, horse riding, pottery classes, personal trainers, musicians and the like.
Electric blankets are provided for colder months and the property is equipped with solar power and inverters ensuring no disruptions during load-shedding.
Greyton Toad Hall is ideal for celebrations, retreats, corporate events and family reunions, providing a tranquil escape with modern conveniences and a welcoming atmosphere.
