Lovely peaceful stay. We went to rest and that's exactly what we got. Beautiful place. We will visit again.

Stylish farm accommodation in a typical Free State setting. Our 2 night stay at Gunsfontein Eco Farm was exceptional. The farmhouse is stylish, comfortable and well equipped with views of the Free State plains and rocky ridges. Nice to hang out and braai on the patio with a large garden for our four-legged child. We made good use of the swimming pool in the warm weather. At night we sat on the wooden deck and admired the stars.

Lonely farm with no security panic buttons or burglar bars. The 2 helpers on arrival are both unhelpful. No orientation of the place. We had to clean and wash our own dishes and asked them to make the beds. You do not see the helpers for dust! Unattractive lonely farm with not even a great view, but only a lonely white horse.
