Description
Gweda Lodge is a lovely holiday home nestled within the Mabalingwe Nature Reserve, near the town of Bela-Bela. This agricultural region is well known for its geothermic hot springs and features a variety of natural attractions and sporting opportunities.
The lodge can accommodate 10 adults and 6 children in 5 bedrooms and features modern decor and amenities. The first and second bedrooms are each furnished with a king-size bed. There are 2 bedrooms with access to a loft, and these are furnished with a king-size bed in the room and 2 single beds in the loft. The fifth bedroom, located in another loft area, contains twin beds and 2 child-only single beds. All 5 bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, and there is a separate guest toilet. Both bath and shower facilities are available.
The open-plan kitchen is equipped for self-catering with a fridge, an oven and stove, and a microwave, while the open-plan living area offers comfortable seating and a TV with selected DStv channels. The living area opens onto a spacious deck with an outdoor dining area, boma, and swimming pool with views of the reserve. For ultimate relaxation, there is a chef to cook your food for you.
The reserve is home to numerous wild animals and bird life, including the Big Five. Swimming in the communal pool, tennis, squash, and putt-putt can also be enjoyed on the reserve. A private game-viewing vehicle can be rented to self-drive and enjoy animal life to the fullest.
