Situated 5 km from Citrusdal, at the foothills of the Cederberg, Harpuis House @ Wolfkop Nature Reserve is one of 8 cottages on a 450-hectare reserve. Boasting incredible views of the Olifants River valley and a platter of outdoor activities, this is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle.
This cottage can comfortably accommodate 10 guests and comprises 5 air-conditioned en-suite bedrooms. All bedrooms are furnished with a king-size bed and all bathrooms are fitted with a shower, washbasin and toilet. Crisp white linen and bath towels are provided.
The living area features a kitchen equipped with a gas stove, a 2-plate stove with a mini-oven, a microwave, a fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. Leading from this kitchen is a lounge with comfy seating and a TV which is a great spot for guests to relax with a book.
Additionally, this home boasts an indoor braai room with a dining table. Through the sliding doors is a covered patio with an outdoor dining table and a jacuzzi which is the perfect place for guests to unwind with a sundowner in the evening. This patio leads down to a splash pool for those hot summer days.
While on the reserve, guests can enjoy stargazing without the light pollution or spot a variety of animal life from duikers to porcupines and tortoises. Depending on the time of year, there are various flowers in bloom. A canoe is available for hire at Wolfkop Camping.
