Private little piece of heaven. Tanya and Shawn were fantastic hosts and made us feel at home on arrival. Comfy beds and a very private room were much appreciated. We had a wonderful Christmas lunch with very tasty home-cooked food. We would strongly recommend Hawkley Country House to our friends and family and will be back soon.

Superb setting, comfortable cottage and wonderful hosts. Hawklee Country House has a charming old-world feel about it, with a wonderful outlook over a meandering stream below. Tanya and Sean are wonderful hosts who make you feel right at home. The cottages are very comfortable, clean and well-appointed. The food may be home-cooked and hearty, but it is certainly a pleasure to eat. Breakfasts are not the usual bacon and egg but are well thought out and very tasty. The Irish home pub, is just that, with a selection of fine Irish Whiskey and the obligatory Guinness. All in all a great place for a wonderful weekend in the Midlands.
