Hawklee Country House is situated in the Kwa-Zulu Natal Midlands and offers unique B&B accommodation or self-catering options, and the first-ever “Bush Kitchen" in the Natal Midlands.
The owner-run, luxurious cottages are equipped with flat-screen TV's, DStv, goose down duvets, electric blankets, warm lush gowns and hospitality packages. The thatched standalone cottages are nestled along the banks of Lion's river, with spectacular river views a stone throw from the river. Hawklee offers a self-catering option in the Rose Garden Studio. Your choice to eat breakfast with us in the Country House or braai yourself is an option for our self-catering guests. Breakfasts can be delivered to your cottage door or you can join us in our dining room and enjoy the river view while relaxing and eating.
Spa pampering services for massages and facials in the privacy of your room is available. Hawklee is situated in a Conservancy and most of our products are eco-friendly to conserve the environment.
Guests can enjoy short river walks, enjoy the prolific bird life and watch the Cape clawless Otters in the river. Duiker, reedbuck, servals cats, mountain cats and even leopard traverse the property, as do many other wildlife at some time or other.
