Area next to dam is excellent - Hector's Bay Accommodation was a major disappointment. Bathrooms were dirty. No maintenance is being done to keep the unit at an acceptable standard. Kitchen cutlery, pots, pans, glasses, and cups were filthy, covered with fatty/oily residue due to substandard soap provided to cleaners. Footnote: the lady on site was very good. She tried her best to assist the guests from both units - the cottage and the main house. She has only been on site for 2 weeks as a stand-in and cannot be blamed for the state of the unit.
