Interesting. Recently stayed at this location and received a friendly call beforehand to confirm if I eat pork, specifically bacon, with my breakfast. On arrival, parking was slightly confusing, but a friendly staff member assisted, making things easier. The reception team was very welcoming and accommodating. The property seems to still be under some construction, and a bit more warmth in the rooms—such as bedside lamps or a small mat—would make for a cozier stay. A few finishing touches in the room would also enhance comfort. One thing to note is that you have to ask for the WiFi code; it would be convenient if a leaflet with rules, WiFi info, and general information were provided in the room. When I checked in, I was asked if I would be going out again, and a remote control was handed to me, which felt a bit unusual. However, overall, the stay was pleasant, with clean rooms, warm water, and friendly staff. For a one-night stay, it was just right.

A clean, safe, friendly place. It is old but was all we needed for one night. It was a lovely overnight stay. The rooms are old but spacious. With a few touch-ups, the room could be more inviting. The cupboard doors all need handles. The cupboard doors need to be able to stay closed. This would create a much better impression. The airbricks between rooms could be filled in to reduce the noise from other rooms. The sound seems to travel easily. Perhaps guests could be encouraged to speak softly, especially when arriving late or leaving early. We enjoyed our one night. It was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Water was nice and hot.

I checked in a little early and the people who received us had no idea how to check in. They also charged me R2,250 instead of R1,500, luckily I had the evidence of the deposit I paid. The rooms advertised DSTV premium package and there were certain channels I could not watch. I had to move the kettle and microwave every time to get to the plug and the plug was behind the fridge. My towels were never replaced with clean towels and I only got 1 towel for the whole week. The yard was also not very clean and there was a lot of old, broken stuff lying around.
