Hillside Guesthouse is a luxury guesthouse, conveniently situated in the heart of the upmarket suburb of Umhlanga Rocks, 300 m away from the beach and 700 m from the vibrant Umhlanga Village. The accommodation is ideally suited for discerning business- and leisure travellers
The accommodation comprises 5, luxury suites, just over 30-square metres, each homely and tastefully decorated with quality percale bedding to ensure the comfort and enjoyment of guests. They all feature private entrances with private patios, air-conditioners, en-suite bathrooms, with shower and bath, TV with personal DStv decoders, under counter fridge, microwave, toaster, tea- and coffee-making facilities, a continental breakfast in the room, personal safe and hairdryer. Each suite is also fitted with an international electrical socket, free high-speed Wi-Fi and safe off road parking. Laundry services and beach towels are available on request.
The communal lounge opens onto a large, covered patio with sea views where guests can either relax on one's own, or with a visitor, or socialise with other guests. There are communal braai facilities at the splash pool.
The renowned Umhlanga Beach and promenade is a short walk away. Knowledge of the surrounding restaurants means that the staff can assist in finding a venue to satisfy every guest.
Hillside Guesthouse is only a 30-minute drive from King Shaka International Airport and 15 minutes from Durban.
