Description
Hilton View B&B is a palatial home in Hilton with a view towards the Drakensberg and Karkloof mountain ranges. Hilton is the Gateway to the famous Midlands Meander. Enjoy the fresh air of the hills above Pietermaritzburg.
We have a Solar/inverter system which keeps the lights, water supply and WiFi on.
There are 4 bedrooms in total. Room 1,2, and 3 are fitted with twin beds and Room 4 is a family room with a queen-size bed and twin beds. All rooms have coffee making facilities, their own bathrooms, TVs, fridges in 3 of the rooms and balconies with lovely views in 2 of the rooms. There is a magnificent air-conditioned bar and lounge area with a large TV, DVD player, pool table and darts board, making this venue ideal for larger groups.
In addition, there is a small tea lounge with a little balcony. For the warm summer days, there is also a lovely pool area and a magnificent sundeck as well as a boma with braai facilities.
A full breakfast consisting of cereals, yoghurt, toast, fruit, coffee, tea and fruit juice as a self-service is served, plus a full cooked breakfast served to guests in the sunny dining area, or out on the sundeck.
The property has a solar backup system and a borehole installed. This means reliable power for lights, TV, Wi-Fi, and water.
Hilton View B&B is located close to the historically rich Capital Cit and is only a few minutes drive from the Nelson Mandela monument, Midmar Dam, Hilton Life Hospital and the Howick Waterfalls, as well as an hour away from Durban and the East Coast, the Drakensberg Mountain Range and a bit further from Sani Pass.
