Description
Hippo Hollow is located in the bushveld town of Marloth Park and is a haven for those who seek to enjoy nature and wild roaming animals right at their front door. The property is adjacent to the Crocodile River, on a panhandle stand, providing privacy to guests while being in close proximity to the river and footpaths adjacent to the Kruger National Park.
The self-catering house is ideal for families and can accommodate 6 guests. It consists of 3 bedrooms with queen-size beds and en-suite bathrooms. Two of the en-suites are fitted with a shower, while the remaining en-suite has both a bath and a shower. All bedrooms are equipped with air-conditioning. A camping cot can be provided on request for babies. Bathrooms are supplied with bath towels, hand towels, hand wash, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, as well as swimming towels for 6 guests.
A fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove, microwave, and air fryer, as well as a scullery with a dishwasher and washing machine, is provided. The living area features comfortable seating and a big-screen smart TV with access to Netflix and Prime Video. Wi-Fi access is also provided.
The best part is the outside entertainment area, with a spacious patio and built-in braai, dining table, and comfortable chairs to enjoy the kudu, zebra, impala, giraffes, and other small antelope paying visits to guests. A large swimming pool and open boma fire area are also part of the outdoor entertainment area. Secure on-site parking is provided, and the property also has a 10kVa solar backup system to ensure guests do not have to struggle with power outages.
Please be aware that Marloth Park is a malaria area - guests are advised to take precautionary measures.
