Home Sweet Home Guest House is situated in the small town of Hennenman in the Goldfields Region of the Free State, just east of Welkom, and offers cosy accommodation in a peaceful environment.
The guesthouse room 1 & 2 is an open plan with an en-suite bathroom. It can be seen as an outside cottage that's got a lounge with a TV and selected DStv channels, and a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, a microwave, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Towels and linen are provided. Guests have access to a built-in braai outside the cottage, a pool table, and secure parking.
The selfcatering accommodation offers 3 guestrooms. The 3 guestrooms have access to a shared bathroom and 8 can sleep in the Guesthouse. The house comprises a communal lounge with a TV with DStv channels and a communal dining area. There is also a communal kitchen fully equipped with a fridge, a microwave, an oven, stove and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Towels and linen are provided. Guests have access to braai facilities, a pool table, and secure parking.
Unlike other towns in the area, Hennenman is not a gold mining town and is free of the gold mine towers. The town was originally a train station stop but became a town after the discovery of lime in the area. Hennenman is on a railway route and the town has an airstrip. Welkom is 40 km away, and Kroonstad is 50 km away.
