Description
Nestled in the Marloth Park wildlife conservancy, HoneyBush Lodge is a charming thatched roof holiday home that provides a genuine bushveld experience, perfect for a family or group of friends wanting some downtime from the big city. Here guests can witness animals roaming freely while enjoying a braai or morning coffee. The backdrop includes the melodic tunes and captivating sights of spectacular bird life, all beneath the breathtaking African skies adorned with beautiful stars.
This lodge can comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests and comprises 5 individually en-suite bedrooms, a kitchen, dining, and living area, and a thatched lapa area. The main bedroom upstairs is furnished with a queen-size bed, a dressing area, and a bathroom fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. The second bedroom upstairs has 3 single beds and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. Downstairs are the third, fourth, and fifth bedrooms. The third bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath. The fourth and fifth bedrooms are furnished with 1 single bed, and 2 single beds, respectively, and have bathrooms fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. Linen and towels are provided.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, basic cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. In addition, there’s also a dishwasher and washing machine for guests convenience. The kitchen leads out to the dining table with chairs and further opens up to the lounge furnished with comfy couches and a TV with selected DStv channels.
The lounge opens up to the patio area with braai facilities, a pizza oven, and a firepit, and features a thatched lapa with picnic bench, and dartboard. Adjacent to the lapa is the sparkling splash pool to cool down. There’s also a tennis table inside the house for guests’ entertainment.
Guests have the option to either drive or take a leisurely walk to the Crocodile River for a captivating view of the Big 5. For a more relaxed experience, they can enjoy a sundowner next to the river, immersing themselves in the tranquil setting unique to Marloth Park conservatory.
