Beautiful and peaceful surroundings.

The cottage is lovely and the setting is stunning, would have loved to stay longer and explore the area and do some hiking - next time.

An overnight stop on the way to Cederberg.

Wonderfully relaxing.

My partner and I had a very enjoyable stay in the Tarentaal Cottage. The indoor and outdoor fireplaces were perfect for braaing and keeping warm during the cold nights. A nearby dam provided a great swimming spot to be refreshed on the hot days. We also had some fun playing through the putt-putt course and exploring some of the nearby hiking trials where we managed to spot some rhebok and dassies!

Had a very nice stay at this facility. We were very sad that we only booked 1 night here. I can absolutely recommend these cottages.

We hiked the Heiveld Arch, which was spectacular. Such a wonderful hike and a true attraction for Houdenbek Cottages.

‘n Stukkie hemel op aarde!

Lafenis vir liggaam, siel en gees. Wegbreek van die stadsgejaag en indrink van gister se bekoring. Plaas is pragtig en swemgat by kampterein is so verleidelik. Een aand was te kort, sou graag julle staproete wou explore.

Mooi omgewing en vriendelike mense.

Dis 'n pragtige natuurlike omgewing met netjiese geordende boerdery. Almal was vriendelik en het gelukkig gelyk.
