Description
House Chardonnay is a double-storey house ideally located in a tree-rich area in a quiet cul-de-sac in Somerset West, with lovely views on the Cape Town Peninsula and False Bay. The property is close to the N2 and R44 routes, and offers easy access to many wine farms in the area. A variety of shops and malls can be reached within a 2 to 5 km radius. The house is also 10 km from the beach.
The house can accommodate up to 7 adults and 1 child and comprises 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, an open-plan kitchen, a TV room and lounge, and two outdoor entertainment areas.
Upstairs, is the main bedroom which has an open-plan studio layout. The room contains a queen-size bed, a futon double bed that can accommodate 1 adult or 2 small children, a TV, an open-plan free-standing bath with a dormer roof window facing the ocean. The room also has a shower en-suite with a toilet and a washbasin.
Downstairs, there are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a study, and the kitchen and living area. The second bedroom contains a queen-size bed, and the third bedroom contains a double bed. The fourth bedroom is also the study and can accommodate 1 adult or child on a single bed. The downstairs bathrooms each contain a shower, a toilet and a washbasin.
The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering with a fridge-freezer, stove and oven, air fryer, kettle, toaster, and dishwasher. There is also a breakfast bar with stools and a Dover stove. Stacker doors open to a private outdoor area with seating. The TV lounge offers seating, a flat-screen TV, and a fireplace. The living area opens to a covered patio with an outdoor dining table and chairs and a pizza oven.
The house has a lovely lush garden with a swimming pool, and a wood-fired hot tub for cold winter nights. The house offers many private areas to sit and relax. The property is fenced and has an electronic gate.
There are also solar panels in case of load shedding.
