Description
House Fynbos is a lovely self-catering holiday home overlooking the well-known Davies Pool in Onrus, Hermanus. The craftily furnished home offers plenty of spaces to relax in, with panoramic views of both the sea and majestic Overberg mountains.
This house can accommodate 10 guests and comprises 5 bedrooms, and 5 bathrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, basin, and toilet, and opens up onto an enclosed outdoor shower. The second and third bedrooms are each furnished with a queen-size bed and have an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. The fourth bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, while the fifth bedroom comprises a bunk bed. The fourth and fifth bedrooms are located on the seaside wing and share the use of a bathroom fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. There’s a guest toilet on the upper floor. Crisp linen and towels are provided.
A beautifully crafted staircase provides access from the bedroom floor to the upper living. This prime family space offers a beautiful kitchen, dining room, lounge area, and balconies extending outwards both on the sea- and mountain sides with a Weber braai facility. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas hob, electric oven, microwave, cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities, and features an 8-seater dining table with chairs. In addition, there’s also a dishwasher and washing machine for guests’ convenience. The lounge area has comfortable couches and a TV. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the house. An inverter ensures that power outages don’t affect the quality of the guest's stay.
The balcony features outdoor seating space with beautiful views of the blue ocean in the distance, as well as portable braai facilities. Guests can enjoy a lovely outdoor braai on the balcony and are afforded safe garage parking for up to 4 cars on the premises, as well as off-street parking.
The house is ideally located within a short drive to Onrus Beach, various coffee shops, and restaurants. Onrus is excellent for walking along coastal paths and perfect for nature lovers.
